Moral Education: The Main Foundation of Schools in the Digital Age

 


Tangerang, 06 July 2025 - Education is more than just transferring knowledge; it is also about developing character. Moral teaching in schools is becoming increasingly important in an age of knowledge overload and rapid change. Schools have a crucial role in establishing noble values in pupils, fostering persons with integrity and accountability. Academic intelligence alone is insufficient to confront life's complex issues in the absence of a strong moral foundation. It is time for us to recognize that investing in moral education is a long-term investment in our nation's future.

In this fast-paced digital world, children are exposed to a wide range of unfiltered information, both positive and negative. Social networking, online games, and other digital platforms can all have an impact on their attitudes and behaviors. Without adequate moral guidance, kids are exposed to undesirable consequences such as cyberbullying, spreading fake news, and other unethical behaviour.

Leadership Moral education focuses not just on avoiding bad behavior, but also on supporting positive behavior. Schools can assist kids build noble character by instilling qualities like honesty, discipline, teamwork, and tolerance. This is also the foundation for the development of leadership.

A nation's future is heavily influenced by the quality of its generation. A generation with integrity, high morals, and a strong social conscience is essential for progress. By improving moral education in schools, we generate graduates who are not just skilled in science, but also persons with a strong moral compass to navigate the difficulties of life.

Students with Learning Difficulties Get Less Attention from Teachers

  Tangerang, 11 May 2025 - Students feel left behind and lose interest in studying when teachers don’t respond to their difficulties. In many schools, the issue of students with learning difficulties not receiving enough attention persists. Students who are confident and proficient in the course are given greater attention by teachers, while others who are less competent are ignored. "I think students who are shy or unsure are often neglected," Fathir said. He also said that many teachers assume that all students can follow the lesson without really checking each individual's understanding.
