In my opinion, the choice between continuing education or starting a job is not the same for everyone. Everyone has different situations, needs, and life goals. For those who have the financial ability and interest in academics, going to college can be an important capital for the future. Higher education provides a broader perspective, builds connections, and increases opportunities to get a better job.
However, beginning a career after completing school is also a good option. Numerous accomplished individuals commenced their journeys from entry-level positions, later advancing their studies while employed or pursuing self-directed learning. Gaining work experience early on can foster independence, accountability, and hands-on abilities that are not always acquired through higher education. Particularly in today's digital age, practical skills often outweigh the importance of a degree.
The key factor, in my view, is to establish an enduring objective. Are we aiming to enter a specific profession that necessitates a degree? Or do we lean towards entrepreneurship, freelancing, or the creative sector that can be pursued with knowledge and experience? There is no better or worse choice for us. The distinction lies in our dedication and persistence in following through with our decision.
